I am on my way to Atlanta Georgia and am currently reading though 1 Thessalonians and really want to share this passage i came across since it is a struggle of mine and many others.
1 Thessalonians 4:3 “For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit”
We must maintain purity. It really sucks because we want to see how far we can go until it’s too far or “wrong”, until we finally feel convicted which we know won’t happen until the flesh has been fed. It says in the end “He who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us his Holy Spirit. Live by the Spirit and not by flesh.”
-At the venue we met up with Tony from the seven venue; an amazing man whom I look up to spiritually. We had great conversations and he continued to encourage us as he always does meeting men like this really inspire me to become the man of God I’m called to be.
Please continue to pray for this tour. God Bless
